2. Your Activity Data Stays on Your Device
Pedometer: Step Counter is an offline step counting app. Step counts are produced by your device sensors and stored locally on your device only. We do NOT upload, transmit, or store your activity history on our servers, and we do not track your location.
Information kept on your device includes daily step counts, activity history, goals, height and weight if you enter them.


3. Information Collected by Third-Party Services
The App uses the Internet permission only to display ads and to collect basic, anonymous analytics that help us keep the App running and improve it. Through third-party SDKs, the following limited data may be collected automatically:

Device Info: Device model, operating system version, language

Advertising ID (GAID): Used by advertising and analytics services

App Usage & Diagnostics: Features used, app open frequency, and crash/performance logs

IP Address: Processed by advertising and analytics services

We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, location, or files.


4. Why This Data Is Collected

Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and bugs


We do not sell personal data or use it for automated profiling with legal effects.

INTERNET: Required to load ads and send anonymous analytics/crash reports. ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION: Required to count your steps using the device motion sensor. The App does not request location access and does not track where you go.


7. Advertising
The App displays ads provided by third-party ad networks. These networks may use the Advertising ID to show personalized or non-personalized ads. Where required by law, the App shows a consent form (Google UMP) so you can choose your ad preferences. You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device's ad settings.


8. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA)
Depending on your region, you have the right to:

Access, update, or delete data associated with you

Withdraw consent or revoke app permissions

Opt out of personalized advertising

Request information about the categories of data collected and shared

Because your activity data is stored only on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing it inside the App or uninstalling the App.


9. Data Retention
Your on-device data remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Analytics and crash data collected by third-party services are typically retained for no longer than necessary for the purposes described above and in accordance with each provider's policy.


10. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.


11. Data Transfers
Data processed by third-party services may be stored or processed on servers outside your country. These providers implement safeguards in line with GDPR and other applicable laws.
